Meet the Team
The people behind the planning, conversations and countless little details that bring the festival to life.
Atta Galatta, an indie bookstore in Indira Nagar.
We chose Atta Galatta because it already feels like the festival we wanted to make. It's a bookstore first and a community space shaped by the readers and writers who gather there anyway.
Look back at where we've been.
Revisit the readings, conversations and moments from our previous two editions in Mumbai.
Frequently asked
When will the agenda and speaker list be announced?+−
We’re releasing the full programme soon. This includes speakers, reader-led sessions, workshops, kids’ programming and the two-day schedule in one go. Sign up above and you’ll get it the moment it’s live.
Is the festival free or ticketed?+−
Entry is ticketed, and tickets are free. We’re holding the count to keep sessions unhurried.
Are kids welcome, and is there programming for them?+−
Yes. There’s a dedicated kids’ track across both days, with storytelling, read-alongs and small hands-on sessions. The full kids’ schedule goes live with the main agenda.
What is the venue actually like?+−
Nestled in the quiet streets of Indiranagar, Atta Galatta is an independent Indian language bookstore and events space with capacity to host 600+ people.
Do I need to be a serious reader to come?+−
No. The festival is built for anyone curious about books, whether casual, avid, in-between, or returning after years away. There’s no reading list to catch up on before you turn up.
How can I get involved as a partner, exhibitor, sponsor or volunteer?+−
